Mrs Lizelle Oosthuizen

My name is Lizelle Oosthuizen and I am a clinical psychologist in private practice.  With nearly 20 years experience as a psychotherapist, I use a client centered approach grounded in General Systems Theory to focus on an individual’s needs within their relational, occupational and social environment.  I believe that it is necessary to have a space where you can express yourself, a space for emotional healing where you can receive empathy and unconditional positive regard . At The Hive Medical Centre we aim to provide such a space.

I specialise in adult depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, bereavement,  trauma, self harming thoughts and behaviour, marital or relational difficulties and health psychology.

While I prefer in-person consultations at The Hive, I am available for online consultations . My practice also extends to Pretoria North and Denmar Specialist Psychiatric Hospital in Pretoria as the need arise.
